Goodcover renters insurance policy payments are set up for automatic payment.

You can view your next bill due date and previous statements in the Billing section of your Member Dashboard.

Nightly automatic billing

Goodcover's payment cycle runs every night. If your bill is due or you have an outstanding payment, the system will attempt to process it overnight.

If an overdue payment method is ready to use, you can wait for the overnight billing cycle to run. You do not need to submit the payment again for the system to make its scheduled attempt.

Successful payments are recorded automatically, although it can take one to two days for your bank to move the money out of your account.

Late payments and the grace period

Goodcover policies have a 30-day grace period for late payments. To prevent cancellation for nonpayment, make sure payment is received by the date listed in your late-payment email.

The system automatically sends late-payment emails daily after payment becomes overdue. These emails continue until payment is received or the policy is canceled for nonpayment, even if you have already contacted Goodcover.

If you have special circumstances, you can request an extension through support chat, or emailing support@goodcover.com.

Processing a payment outside the nightly cycle

If you need Goodcover to process a payment outside the scheduled overnight billing cycle, contact the support team for help.

If you notice two payments close together, see Why was I charged twice?. For information about policy and installment fees, see Are there any fees associated with my policy?.
