How to download your policy documents or declarations page

Need a copy of your renters insurance policy for your records or your landlord? You can download your current policy documents from your Goodcover Member Dashboard at any time.

Sign in and open your policy

1. Go to the Goodcover login page and sign in with the email address on your account.
2. On Overview, find the policy card for the address you need. The policy number is the bold code at the top of the card.
3. Select View policy.

If you have more than one policy, check the insured address and policy period before you download.

Download your current documents

Select Download PDF at the top right of the policy page. Open the downloaded file to confirm it is the policy and address you intended to share.

Select Download PDF for your current policy documents. All member and policy information shown is synthetic.

Find an earlier version

If you need documents from before a policy change, such as a coverage update or address correction, select View History under Policy Actions. Every saved version is listed with its date; select the PDF link next to the version you need.

Policy History provides PDF links for saved policy versions. This example uses a synthetic policy.

Your current documents reflect your current policy details; an earlier version may show different coverage or address information.

Send proof of insurance to your landlord

You can share the downloaded PDF yourself, or add your landlord or property manager as an interested party so Goodcover sends them proof of insurance and policy status notices directly.
